To say it was a “great trip” is an understatement. The final destination of Machu Picchu is of course amazing, but the 5 stars has nothing to do with that. The care that was shown, not only months in advance, but during the trip itself, makes it so easy to give 5 stars. Adventure Desk went above and beyond to make sure that the crew that was selected was the best in the business. They made sure that we were well informed about what to expect and how to prepare for this once in a lifetime trip. I’ve never experienced this kind of customer service on any vacation and cannot wait to book our next trip with Adventure Desk. My needs were met from the planning stage and paying to the execution and the team on the ground. From the food to the guides, from the laughs to the tears, from start to finish … mere words aren’t enough to express the gratitude I feel towards this company and its exceptional, amazing people. This was a 5 star trip due to wonderful, knowledgeable local guides, great accommodations in the middle of the jungle, and numerous adventures including jungle hikes, visiting an Amazon animal rescue centre, a small village where they make their own pottery and even learning how to use a Blowgun. Amazing trip! I would do it all again.

I can't say enough about how flawlessly our trekking expedition from the Ausangate Trek to the Inka Trail to Machu Picchu was organized and executed. Angel was a phenomenal tour guide on the trail, and both he and Mora consistently went above and beyond to take care of us. From the high-altitude climbs to the daily camp logistics, no request was too small—they always came through and treated us like family. They truly helped turn this journey into a cherished, once-in-a-lifetime memory. A huge thank you to everyone at Adventure Desk for the superior customer service and hospitality.
