Booking Terms & Conditions

Deposit We require a $300 CAD deposit per traveler to confirm your spot. 

Final payment is 90 days prior to departure - this will be charged automatically to the credit card on file.  

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 8 full paying travelers for trip to be guaranteed.
Trip Guarantee date - 90 days prior to departure.


Group Discounts

As with all MRACX trips - the more people who join, the more savings.  While the minimum group size is 8 for this trip, if we receive 11 or more participants, the pricing will reduce as follows:


Cancellation by Traveller

Cancellations made 91+ days prior to departure will incur loss of deposit.

Cancellations made within 90-60 days will incur a loss of 50% of the booking value.

Cancellations made within 59-0 days will incur a 100% loss.

Day 1

Arrive Deer Lake - Transfer to Twillingate

Arrive before 230PM today and on arrival we will transfer to Twillingate - Approximately a 4 hour journey.  We will check in to our hotel where we will overnight and prepare for the day ahead.

If you require accommodation in Deer Lake beforehand, please let us know and it can be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 2

Twillingate - Iceberg Boat Tour

Today is the day we head out on the water to Iceberg  or Similar.vel at 12,000-year-old icebergs, observe majestic humpback whales and watch elegant seabirds frolic along our coastlines. Relax as our friendly crew proudly introduces you to outport Newfoundland’s way of life, charisma and hospitality that attract visitors from around the globe.  Our boat tour lasts approximately 2 hours,  and we finish the day with a coastal hike to Long Point lighthouse before transferring to Rocky Harbour in Gros Morne for the night.

Day 3

Gros Morne

Today we will enjoy the Western Brook Pond Cruise followed by a guided half day hike in Gros Morne National Park.

Gros Morne Hiking

Depending on the outlook on weather, our guides will give us a few options of the challenging hikes available in the area Gros Morne Mountain o rthe Big Lookout. They are all full 6-8 hour hikes and provide stunning views, and with our guides along there will be plenty of interpretation, stories and jokes along the way.

Day 5

Gros Morne to Corner Brook

Today we are off to explore the Bay Islands of Corner Brook, not far from Gros Morne. Enjoy a leisurely morning before we transfer to Corner Brook which is approximately 1 hour away.  On arrival we are jumping in a Zodiac to explore Woods Island.  Woods Island is like no other place on earth. This remote island was cut off from the mainland, and for centuries, its residents lived in isolation. They fished from these shores and raised their families in the shelter of the magnificent Blow Me Down Mountains.  Boat tour lasts approximately 3 hours with a picnic lunch.

Day 6

Hiking the Bay Islands + Local Lobster Boil

Embark on a 4-5 hour guided hike showcasing the stunning landscapes around Corner Brook on the blow me down hiking trail. Conclude the day with a memorable outdoor lobster dinner prepared with local ingredients at the Saltbox Restaurant overlooking the Bay. Enjoy fresh seafood and some local music as you celebrate your final day in Newfoundland.

Day 7

Depart Deer Lake

After breakfast, make your way back to Deer Lake airport to catch your flight back home.
