Quantum Yoga & Pilates hosts a Weeklong Adventure including a 4-Day Guided Trek on the Legendary Inca Trail, Culminating at the Incredible and Sacred Inca Ruins of Machu Picchu.

Hike ancient trails, be immersed in the epic landscape, and camp where clouds drift through the trees. From the colorful streets of Cusco to the legendary beauty of Machu Picchu, this trip is all about being present and connecting with the heart of the Andes. There’s history in every step, moments of awe-inspiring wonder, and a wild kind of magic all around.

But what really sets this adventure apart is the people you'll travel with—a group that understands what dedication means, that moves with purpose, and embraces the simple joy of difficult experience. Long days on the trail turn into belly laughs at camp and memories that will stay with you long after your blisters have healed.

This is why we practice. This is what it's all about.

MEET YOUR HOST

Joy Andersen: Studio Owner, OHY Teacher and Practitioner
MEET YOUR HOST image

I am so excited to bring this dream to life — taking our Quantum community beyond the studio and into a once-in-a-lifetime journey to one of the world’s most mythic and transforming places.

This isn’t just travel—it’s connection. To yourself, to the people beside you, and to those that have walked this trail long before us. It’s movement that tests you and carries you forward, steady and relentless. It’s presence—the kind we practice in class —getting out of your head and into the raw immediacy of the air, the dirt, the rhythm of your breath. It’s using your body the way it was built to move and feeling unmistakably, powerfully alive.

Come to laugh, to sweat, to share stories under the stars and to build bonds that will last a lifetime.

If you've got any questions - please feel free to chat with me in the studio or email me at [email protected]

Hope to see you on the trail -

Joy

Huchuy Qosqo: A Day of Cultural Immersion & Earth Connection

This transformative full-day journey blends wellness, nature, and ancient tradition as we trek along sacred Inca trails through the Andes to the hidden site of Huchuy Qosqo. Itinerary Overview

The Inca Trail hike starts today! With a transfer to Ollantaytambo we reach KM 82 and lace up our boots to begin trekking. The trail follows the Urubamba River, weaving through highland valleys and cloud forest edges, guided by experienced porters and a certified trekking guide. As the route unfolds, ancient stonework emerges at Patallacta, a striking archaeological site nestled in the mountains, offering the first glimpse into the grandeur of the civilization that once thrived here.

After a nourishing lunch on the trail, the group continues toward the first campsite, where the day winds down in the stillness of the Andes. The spirit of the journey is just beginning to take shape.

At our campsite we have the opportunity to unwind with a hands-on Andean cooking experience right at your scenic campsite. Led by a local guide, this two-hour session invites you to explore Peru’s rich culinary traditions as you prepare iconic dishes like fresh trout ceviche and causa limeña—a vibrant layered dish made with native potatoes, lime, chili, avocado, and your choice of filling. Learn the stories behind each ingredient and technique. This relaxed afternoon is the perfect blend of nourishment, culture, and connection.

Itinerary Overview

The day unfolds among three remarkable Inca sites: Runkurakay, with its rare circular design, Sayacmarca, a fortress carved into the mountainside, and Phuyupatamarca, rising above the clouds. As you make your steps through the trail, it feels like traveling back in time to ancient Incan days.

Later, the trail begins its descent into the lush cloud forest. Stone steps lead to Wiñay Wayna, a stunning complex of agricultural terraces and ritual baths clinging to the mountainside. Often considered one of the most beautiful sites on the trail, Wiñay Wayna feels suspended between sky and jungle.
